Official Jet Card Breakdown

A Modern Approach to Luxury Flight

See below as our team breaks down the ins and outs of a jet card. Understand what it is, why it exists, and who should have one.

Jet Cards

Jet Cards are one of the most efficient ways for frequent flyers to travel. Consider this-If you could have locked in your price for gas years ago would you have? Everybody would say yes! With a jet card it is a similar concept! Lock in a fixed rate for a specific type of aircraft, set number of hours, and over a specified time frame that those hours on your card are valid for. Once chosen simply wire the funds to OnFly Air and we will give you a member ID with the option for our physical Jet Setter member card!

Going forward you will be able to call anytime and give your member ID and our representatives will book your flight at your personalized exclusive member rate. We are consistently updating our approved operator list and pricing guide to ensure you have the best pilots, best aircraft, and best rate on the market!

What aircraft should I choose for my jet card? There are a few different categories of jets we currently offer cards for-Light, Midsize, and Heavy.

Please see our guide below!

Light Jet

Example Aircraft: Citation CJ3, Learjet 31, Embraer Phenom 300

  • Passenger Capacity: Typically seats between 5 to 8 passengers.
  • Range: Ideal for shorter trips, usually up to about 2,000 miles. This makes them perfect for domestic flights or short hops in Europe.
  • Features: Smaller cabins and less luggage space compared to larger jets. However, they offer a cost-effective solution for small groups and are able to land at smaller airports, providing closer access to final destinations and avoiding busier major airports.
  • Best Used For: Business trips or personal travel where budget, speed, and access to smaller airports are priorities. Great for day trips or trips lasting a couple of days.

Midsize Jet

Example Aircraft: Citation Latitude, Hawker 800XP, Gulfstream G150

  • Passenger Capacity: Generally accommodates between 6 to 10 passengers.
  • Range: Capable of traveling up to about 3,000 miles, making them suitable for longer domestic flights or transcontinental flights without needing to refuel.
  • Features: Larger and more comfortable cabin spaces than light jets, often equipped with facilities for meals and the capability for passengers to stand up during the flight. They often come with enhanced in-flight entertainment and connectivity options.
  • Best Used For: Longer domestic flights or medium-range international travel. Suitable for business executives traveling with teams or families enjoying luxury travel. Good balance between cost and comfort.

Heavy Jets

Example Aircraft: Gulfstream G550, Bombardier Global 6000, Dassault Falcon 7X

  • Passenger Capacity: Typically can carry 10 to 18 passengers.
  • Range: High range capabilities, usually between 4,000 to 7,500 miles, which allows for intercontinental flights without the need for refueling stops.
  • Features: Spacious interiors that can include multiple seating areas, private bedrooms, and full bathrooms. They offer the highest levels of luxury and comfort in private aviation, often with advanced avionics and capabilities for international travel.
  • Best Used For: Long-haul international travel for large groups, VIP transportation, or when the utmost in luxury and on-board amenities are desired. Suitable for long-distance travel such as transatlantic flights where comfort, space, and onboard productivity facilities are necessary.
