The numbers — and exactly what the clock starts and ends on.
Marketing copy says fast. Here is what our operating record says, metric by metric, with the definition next to every number. Period measured: January 2024 through August 2026, across 450+ documented missions in our ledger and dispatch records.
Definitions — what each clock measures
Median quote response (17 minutes): from the client’s first call or message to a real quote with aircraft and price, measured on dispatch records.
Go-ahead to wheels-up (1 hour 12 minutes average): from the client’s go-ahead to the sourced aircraft airborne toward pickup.
First call to takeoff (under 2.5 hours average): the full window a stranded client feels — from the first call, through quoting and go-ahead, to the aircraft airborne. Includes client decision time.
On-time launch (95%): missions that launched within the window quoted at booking.
ETA reliability (99.7%): missions delivered within one hour of the projected ETA given at booking — frequently ahead of schedule.
Documented missions (450+): ledger-verified missions flown since January 2024. Route, price, aircraft, and client class recorded per mission; 98% flown for U.S. airline clients.
Ledger metrics (mission counts, routes, prices, aircraft, client mix) are exact. Timing metrics come from dispatch records and operator confirmations across the same period. We publish updates as the record grows.

What “vetted” actually means
Every flight is operated by an FAA Part 135 certificated carrier or international equivalent — OnFly Air is a broker and logistics coordinator, not a direct air carrier. Before an operator flies a mission we verify the FAA certificate is current, confirm insurance, and check ARGUS/Wyvern ratings where applicable. International missions add country ops specs verification; dangerous goods fly only on operators holding FAA will-carry approval. Operator records are re-checked as missions are assigned, not annually. The network: 2,000+ operators, 500+ vetted for time-critical launch.
Service commitments
A live human answers 24/7/365 — no menu, no callback form. Quotes are delivered in minutes and are exact before you commit. Every mission runs with live milestone tracking and documented proof of delivery, plus a mission file if you ever need the receipts. If a sourced aircraft becomes unavailable before launch, the desk re-sources from the network at the quoted mission — that is what a 2,000+ operator bench is for. We have never turned down a request.
Transparent terms
Quotes are all-in for the mission: fees, taxes, and aircraft included. The only items ever billed after the fact are hangars, deicing, or genuinely unique circumstances that arise in execution.
Cancellation: same-day cancellation is billed at 50% of the charter cost. Once the aircraft has taken off, 100% of the charter cost is due.
Pricing: All prices shown are historical mission data only. Actual pricing varies — often significantly — with the aircraft the trip requires, aircraft and crew availability, hazmat requirements, repositioning time and aircraft location, departure and arrival airport fees, fuel prices, weather, time of day, ATC routing, and other operational factors. Your quote is exact and itemized before you commit.
